Colortech earns bronze status EcoVadis sustainability rating
MORRISTOWN, Tenn. (January 20, 2021) – Colortech has earned a bronze medal for Sustainability from EcoVadis, one of the world’s largest providers for business sustainability ratings and assessments. This is the first year the manufacturer of color and additive concentrates has submitted a report for evaluation.
The assessment evaluates performance across 21 indicators in four main themes: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
Colortech’s rating aligns with its Guiding Principles, The 5 C's, where Health, Safety, and the Environment remains crucial as the company takes an active approach to build sustainable processes to reduce their impact on the environment.
“Colortech is honored to receive the EcoVadis bronze medal for sustainability. We remain committed to continuous improvement and working as a team and with our strategic partners to develop processes and products that help everyone live more sustainably,” stated Beth McGhee-Folsom, Colortech’s Director of Regulatory Affairs.
The bronze medal recognizes Colortech is among the top industry participants that completed the well-known sustainability assessment. EcoVadis has assessed over 75,000+ companies by addressing potential risk factors and guiding participants on ways to improve sustainability, social, and ethical goals to create a brighter future for this and future generations.
