Colortech 20916-19 Black concentrate can be used in all non-critical film and molding applications, as an easy to disperse and let down product, replacing traditional black concentrates with a high, 50-60 % carbon black loading.

Additive Concentrates

High-Load Additive Concentrates

Colortech High load additive concentrates are the most economical solution to your additive needs. We offer additive products such as antistatic agents, antifog, slip, mold release, UV additives, and antioxidants, etc. in concentrations ranging from 50 % to 70 % by weight in a variety of polymer carrier resins, on a custom basis. Apart from the improved economics of usage, Colortech High Load additive concentrates technology minimizes additive degradation typical of concentrates produced via traditional compounding processes. Volatile additive weight loss due to heat or extrusion is minimized and the functional chemistry of the specific additive is preserved.

Colortech 10617-41 60 % BHT Concentrate

This product is a high load (60%) BHT antioxidant concentrate for blown film applications with LDPE, LLDPE and metallocene-catalyzed LLDPE resins, primarily for specialty packaging applications. Colortech can custom formulate similar products with other antioxidants.

Colortech 10536-00 Hi-Load GMS Concentrate

This GMS concentrate is formulated with 50 % monoester additive and is intended for broad application use in blown & cast film, extrusion coating and injection molding applications.

Colortech 10359-41 Cling Concentrate

This product is a high load (60%) PIB-cling concentrate for extrusion applications. Colortech 10359-41 is formulated with a highly active high molecular weight PIB grade, but is pelletized in a proprietary, non-stick form for ease of handling and long-term storage without congealing. This PIB concentrate offers a flexible means of incorporating PIB via a high-load concentrate without direct injection.

Slip and Antiblock Concentrates

Colortech slip/antiblock concentrates are effective at reducing the COF of films made from various polymers, while maintaining film optical properties such as clarity and low haze. Meanwhile, our series of specialty antiblock concentrates are designed for high clarity film applications.

Colortech 10230-08 Slip/Clarity Antiblock and Colortech 10237-13 Antiblock concentrates are recommended for blown and cast film applications where good clarity is important, and are especially suitable for metallocene- catalyzed LLDPE polymer films.

Colortech 10253-13 Slip/Antiblock concentrate is suggested for general- purpose film extrusion applications, where film clarity is not as critical.

Colortech 10251-06 Antiblock concentrate is recommended for general- purpose metallocene-catalyzed LLDPE film extrusion.

Colortech 10223-07 Antiblock concentrate is formulated with a unique synthetic silica to provide optimum film optical properties (ultimate clarity and low haze) and antiblocking performance in more demanding film applications. This product is recommended for LDPE, LLDPE and metallocene-catalyzed LLDPE films.

Colortech 10082-12 Clarity Antiblock concentrate is formulated with a proprietary antiblock additive which offers the least reduction in original clarity while contributing required antiblocking effect in high-end packaging films. Colortech 10082-12 also has unique application in HDPE film extrusion, effectively reducing fluff build-up on haul-off and in-process rollers and bars, without affecting any other HDPE film mechanical properties or altering film COF.

Antistatic Concentrates & Compounds

Colortech has designed specialty antistatic concentrates for extrusion coating and other high temperature extrusion applications where conventional concentrates do not perform well because of processing issues including temperature stability, volatility, and impaired antistat functionality while processing certain types of resins.

Colortech 10532-08 Antistat Concentrate

This product is specially formulated for reduced volatility and optimum antistatic functionality in extrusion coating or any other high temperature extrusion process.

Colortech 10538-10 Non-Migratory Antistat Compound

Traditional antistatic additives used in polyolefin applications are migratory, volatile materials, which may be lost over time and during the application service life from the surface of films, profiles, or molded articles. Colortech 10538-10 antistatic compound provides a non-migratory, conductive interpenetrating polymer network (PN), for enhanced, permanent antistatic behavior in film, fiber, or molded part applications. Optimum performance & value-in-use is obtained when Colortech 10538-10 is used as the outside layer in a coextruded process.
